LPI offers promotional exams at several events and a free course during CeBIT 2015

(Kassel, Germany: February 24, 2015) The Linux Professional Institute (LPI), the leading vendor-independent Linux certification organization, announced promotional exam labs for LPI exams at several events:

LPI is sponsoring the CeBIT Open Source Forum 2015 (http://www.linux-magazin.de/VIDEOS/Konferenzvideos/CeBIT-Open-Source-Forum-2015). On Thursday, March 19, there is a presentation at 14:00 hrs "LPIC-Zertifizierung: Strategien zur Prüfungsvorbereitung" by Ingo Wichmann, Linuxhotel, and on Friday, March 20 at 12:15 hrs a presentation "Karrierechancen mit Open Source Know-How und LPI-Zertifikat" by Klaus Behrla, Linux Professional Institute.

In cooperation with LPI Certified Solution Gold Partner IKU Systems & Services there is a free preparation course for LPI exams on March 18, 2015 during CeBIT at MMBBS Hanover (http://www.mmbbs.de/info/anfahrt). At the Chemnitzer Linux-Tage (https://chemnitzer.linux-tage.de/2015/de/programm/beitrag/189) and the Grazer Linuxtage (https://www.linuxtage.at) LPI will also have an information booth.

Here the detailed information about all LPI exams during the events in the upcoming weeks. The following LPI exams will be offered at a special conference rate:
- LPI Linux Essentials – in German and English
- LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 (101, 102, 201, 202) - in German and English
- LPIC-3 (300, 303 and 304) - in English

- Univention Certified Professional exam (LPI 198) - in English

The exams take two hours time including preparation. The current promotional exam fees are published on the website under https://lpievent.lpice.eu . Candidates must make payment for their exam before the exam lab by cash. Candidates must bring a government issued photo identification and an LPI ID which may be obtained at: https://www.lpi.org/register . Because of a limited number of exam seats, please register in advance. The registration form can be found under https://lpievent.lpice.eu .
