Chemnitz Linux Days

March 14 till March 15, 2020

"Simply do it!" is the motto of Chemnitz Linux Days, taking place March 14 to 15 March 2020. The largest Linux and open source event in the German-speaking world will focus on the simplicity and usability of applications. Linux Professional Institute Central Europe (LPI CE) will once again be on hand with reduced-price exams.

In recent years, there has been considerable progress in IT in the area of usability. Even working with Linux no longer requires specialist knowledge. However, behind easy-to-use applications, interfaces and solutions there is often more complexity than in previous years. The focus of this year's Chemnitz Linux Days will be to shed light on this area of tension and to clarify the question of how "simple" is not yet "too simple". However, the organizers of Chemnitz Linux Days are also aware of the ambiguity of the motto and have specifically called on initiators of young projects who dare to do something and " simply do it" to submit contributions.

Exclusively for the participants of Chemnitz Linux Days, Linux Professional Institute Central Europe is again offering its examinations at the event at reduced rates. Paper exams for LPIC-1 to -3, DevOps Tools Engineer and BSD Specialist are available for 90 Euros, the Linux Essentials exam for 60 Euros.

Because the number of places is limited, we recommend that you register in advance at https://lpievent.lpice.eu/. If you have further questions about the offered exams, our team will be happy to answer them via e-mail to info@lpice.eu.
