LPI informed about DevOps at OpenCamp Bratislava

LPI Central Europe took part, for the first time, in the OpenCamp in Bratislava, Slovakia, on Saturday, April 21st, 2017. The event was hosted at the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava, at the Faculty of Information Technologies.

The OpenCamp Bratislava has been organized for several years by SOIT (http://www.soit.sk/sk/in-english/who-we-are), LPI long-term partner in Slovakia, as a local chapter of a series of OSS Weekends held in the most important Slovak cities. In 2018, for the first time, this annual event adopted a different name: OpenCamp, and counted with a new management who, in cooperation with SOIT, intends to transform the event into an important national conference for the open source and Linux community in Slovakia.

The OpenCamp Bratislava 2018 gathered nearly 250 participants, mostly IT professionals and open source enthusiasts. The

Elzbieta Godlewska from LPI Central Europe had a presentation about DevOps Tools at the event. She gave an overview of the DevOps landscape and explained how LPI can help IT professionals advancing career in DevOps.
