The "Regional Enablement Initiative" of LPI

The Linux Professional Institute has built a network of affiliates that promote LPI in their own regions. LPI works in this Regional Enablement Initiative with organizations around the world to ensure the growth and adoption of Linux, Open Source and Free Software. 

For Central Europe, precisely the countries Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Poland and Switzerland, the LPI works together with the company Open Source Certification GmbH as the Master Affiliate for this region.
